We fix what is broken. If a door really is done, we will show you why and give you options at different price points. New doors and major projects get a free on-site measurement and a written quote.

Wade Greene Jr. started Geaux Overhead Door in October 2020 with one truck and a simple idea: show up when you say you will, charge a fair price, and do the job so it does not need doing again. In May 2024 we opened a second shop on Highway 33 in Ruston so Lincoln Parish customers get the same response time as our neighbors in Ouachita.
We are licensed and insured, BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, and members of the West Monroe West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce and the Home Builders Association of Northeast Louisiana.

Questions we hear every week
Do you come out and give a quote before a repair?
For a service call, no separate quote visit is needed. The technician comes out, diagnoses the door, and gives you the price right there. If you say yes, the repair usually happens in the same visit from parts on the truck. Separate on-site quotes are for new door installations and major projects like carport conversions and commercial doors.
Do you charge extra for same-day or emergency calls?
We will tell you before we roll a truck. Regular calls are scheduled during shop hours and emergency calls are available around the clock. Whatever the situation, you get the price before we start the work, not after.
Do I need to replace both springs if only one broke?
Usually yes on a two-spring door. Both springs have cycled the same number of times, so the second one is close behind. Replacing them as a pair costs less than two separate trips and keeps the door balanced. We will show you the springs and let you decide.
Do you work on brands you did not install?
Yes. We repair all makes and models of residential and commercial doors and openers, including doors installed by other companies or big-box stores.
How far do you travel?
From West Monroe we cover Ouachita, Morehouse, Richland, Franklin, Caldwell, and Union parishes. From Ruston we cover Lincoln, Jackson, Bienville, Claiborne, and Webster parishes. We also take jobs across the state line in Crossett, Hamburg, and El Dorado, Arkansas. If you are within about 75 miles of either shop, call us.
Are you a franchise or part of a national chain?
No. Geaux Overhead Door is owned and run by Wade Greene Jr. and his family in West Monroe. Both shops are ours, the trucks are ours, and the people who answer the phone work here.
